For all my Blogger friends out there I have a question for you.
What is the craziest thing you have ever done for love? ie, move to a different state/country, quit your job, changed religions, traveled to the far depths of the world just to say i love you, etc...
I am doing a little survey for a story and would like to hear your stories. Please leave a comment and let me know.

There are theives in New York??
OK, I know, I haven't been keeping up with my blog. But i have an excuse. My suitcase got stolen with my camera charger in it and I can't download photos to the computer to blog them.
A week ago I came back from a Family trip to the lake, which by the way I have several fun photos to share, and I needed to pick up my keys from a friend. I left my suitcase tucked away under the stairwell of their apartment for a wee bit so I didn't have to carry it all the way up.
When I came back down it was gone. Taken in broad day light. Right from underneath me. I was gone for only 5 minutes.
OK well, really i was gone for about 20, but still. I freaked out on a few people that were around when the disappearing suitcase happened. I questioned everyone I saw. I decided to make whoever stole it feel really guilty so I wrote sad soppy letters to the tenants in the building posting them all over the building and sliding them under each door as well. I wanted my suitcase back and wanted it now.
It had ALL of my MAC make-up and make-up brushes and everyone knows how expensive it is to replace that. My Camera, Blackberry, and Ipod chargers. Clothes and more clothes. My favorite necklace of the season, and a pair of blue open toe medium height shoes that were my favorite (see blog of me and my roommate standing in the rain for visual). Not to mention every nice bra that I owned $$$.
I have been spending the week trying to replace all that was stolen. It's been tough and pricey. The one thing that I thought would be a cinch to get is being the toughest. The camera charger. No one sells a Samsung NV3 Charger and when I have called Samsung directly they just keep giving me the run around and sending me to different people where i have to wait on hold forever.
SO, I have a suspect of who stole the suitcase. I think it was the cleaning lady, in the front apartment, with the laundry basket. I questioned her a lot that day and made her feel REALLY guilty in case if it was her. Yes, i know that was mean of me but she didn't seem right.
Wednesday I got a call from some lady saying that she found some family photos of me in the trash in the Bronx. When I asked her how she got my number she hesitated and said, "umm ehh, on a luggage tag".
Apparently my bag was in the "trash" in the "Bronx" empty with just the family photos in it. Now, I know people in this city and NO ONE would go out of their way to call you if they found something of yours in the trash. I consider myself a nice and caring person and I wouldn't even do that.
UNLESS, this "Bronx caller" read a sign that I posted around the apartment buildings stating that I was extremely upset that my family photos were in the suitcase and they were irreplaceable. Hmmmmm, I think I might have something here.
So this weekend, after sunbathing myself at the beach and then spending all my money and sanity at Ikea, I plan to go talk to the people who hire this "cleaning lady" and see what I can find out.
I am a regular Columbo.

A Man of Many Words
There are some things that we never question. Some things that we just enjoy and never think about where they came from or who invented them. Like Paint or VHS Tapes or... Disney Songs.
Thursday I was setting up the Jungle Book DVD release party. The special guest to the party was non other than Richard Sherman. Who is Richard Sherman you ask??? Well you already know him. Actually, you know ALL of his work. He has been with most of you your entire lives and you never even knew it. Here is a list of just a few things he has done that might impress you.
Writer of Songs:
Winnie the Pooh; The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers; It's a Small World; Let's Get Together (The Parent Trap); ALL SONGS ON MARY POPPINS; ALL SONGS ON JUNGLE BOOK; Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, etc, etc...You can go to this site for more info on him http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0792556/
So you can see that I was impressed. And if you know me, you know that my family are huge Disney Fans. This was a moment that I never thought I would have and will never forget. He is the man and the mind behind some of my favorite songs. Songs that I will pass down to my children some day. And to meet him and talk with him makes the songs that more enjoyable.

MIA
Sorry to all those who have been coming to my Blog to read new news. I have been very busy with life changing activities and haven't had a free moment to sit down and update you.
2 weeks ago I decided to make a career move and quit my job. After 3 years I was mentally done with it. Publicit was never really what I wanted to do. So now I am working with Hatch Creative Studio. It is a event design company and i am helping start a planning side of things. I am planning weddings, parties, and events. It is more to my liking but I am having a hard time relaxing into it. I cant make my own hours, do my own thing and not really have to answer to anyone. It is a hard adjustment but i think eventually i will get the hang of it.
I will update everyone soon with photos and such!!!

The Coldest Drink In Town
"Monchichi Monchichi, I see an ICEE..." This is the little song that me and my brother Rick made up one Wednesday night while coming home from church when I was 7. We knew that if we sang it loud enough and long enough that my Dad or Mom would get annoyed and pull over so we could get an ICEE. No, the song was not great, not really sure what it meant, but it worked and that's all that matters.
Since I can remember ICEE has been a big part of my life. I think i have had at least one a day since age 5. Each flavor reminds me of something. Blue Raspberry reminds me of riding in our neighbors convertible up to the local 7-11 to get one on a hot summer day, yes i was barefoot.
Peach and Coke Mixed reminds me of stretching at cheerleading practice in High School gossiping about who's dating who.
Now that I live in NYC i don't get to have my 2-3 ICEE's a day like I want. It's something I miss dearly about the South.
The other day I had a discussion about my ICEE knowledge with a New Yorker friend. He grew up here and did not believe me that there were more flavors than Coke, Cherry and Blue Raspberry. I was shocked. I could not believe that someone could miss out on all the joy that ICEE's can bring. We also had a discussion about what was better, ICEE or Slurpee's from 7-11. Both made from ice, both delicious, but in my eyes ICEE wins hands down. ICEE's are not just a cheap connivance store treat, they are a vision of truth and justice to society today.
So to prove to him and the world on my ICEE Knowledge and my love for the drink it's self here are some facts.
Did you know:
ICEE was created in the late 1950's and is 40 years old. It has been around longer than I have. It is sold in over 30,000 outlets Nationwide and in Canada and Mexico. Over 300,000 are sold each year, i contribute to half of that. The Highest amount of ICEE's are sold in July seeing how they are mostly sold in the South, that makes since. The most popular flavors are Coke, Blue Raspberry and Cherry. Roger Clemens is a spokesperson for all over Texas serving "Rocket Fuel", a new energy drink by the ICEE Company. The ICEE Southern Owner and Distributor is based out of Benton, LA and is Mr. Festervan (see photo below). My dad is personal friends with him. Now put that in your pipe and smoke it Long Island Boy.
Now here are some photo's to show how the South does the ICEE...
Here is the new Machine. Back in the day the machine was white and you couldn't see the ICEE being made. Here are flavors Peach and Green Apple. Now you can have more than 2 flavors to choose from when you go to a gas station. Also, the machines are self server now. You are able to mix up your flavors as you wish.
Here is my Brother and Chris Enjoying their Large Peach ICEE's
My Favorite combo flavor is Peach and Coke. Refreshing and delicious at the same time.
All these in one trip.
As you can see there are 6 flavors to choose from. White Cherry, Orangesicle, Blue Strawberry, Peach, Strawberry, and the Classic Coke.
